Two years ago I had the honor of creating some Art works from portraits of a gorgeous lady. This was an awesome birthday gift from her amazing husband who himself is an artist too. He wanted some artworks for her wife with herself to be the main subject and based on her life experiences.
Beautiful Natalie and I had a catch up to talk about her and her stories. It did not take much time to find out her passion for belly dance, music, books, history and food, etc. We talked about her family, background, and her lovely husband who is one of the most supportive people I know. He has always been a big support of Art communities and events. Ali is a very well known dentist who also plays traditional Persian music instruments.
After our meeting we set a time for a contemporary and fine art portrait session. I loved to create an art work based on the beautiful bound between this two lovely people’s different heritage which is illustrated as the main element in the first photo at the top. The tattoo-like element on her shoulder was one of the decorative motives of the music room of Ali-Ghapo (a palace located in Isfahan, Iran) combined with one of Australia’s native flowers. This image has proudly awarded in both Australian and International photo competitions.
Other two works were created based on her stories and life experiences, combining her portraits with traditional Iranian architectural elements and motives. Both Natalie and Ali loved these three artworks. They also chose some of her contemporary glamour portraits and I am so houred these prints are hung on their walls of their house.
How can be a better birthday gift from a husband to her beautiful wife than a series of Art works and portraits to capture her stories and beauty forever?!
